DISCLAIMER:
The exogenous glucose time course and glycemic index estimator calculators below are presented here only for educational purposes. Although based on various scientific reports and publications, they are no more related with what will actually happen in your body than your horoscope for today is related to your date of birth.
These calculators will help you estimate how a meal will convert into blood glucose over time. Whichever one you choose, please try to estimate the quantity in the meal selected as best as you can, paying attention to the serving size as measured or as printed on the package and by how many servings you will actually eat.
Select from the following two tools the one that is most convenient for you to use.
- using your own nutritional software (such us Balance PC, Lighten Up, web-based food databases, or nutritional software from other vendors). Simply calculate your meal composition in terms of calories, grams of protein, carbohydrate, dietary fiber, total fat and sugar, and type the values in the calculator's Nutrient Composition Table. When you are satisfied with what you entered hit the OK and then the Plot Graph buttons.
